Question: When I enter my question and press the button, why doesn't the answer appear on the bottom page?
Well, the simple answer to this is that I too am a human, and have a life. This is not some magical automated system which will interpet and specifically answer your questions instantly. It requires having to check for any questions, and then going onto the website, as I am now, and answering the question. I strive to answer every question (providing that it hasn't been asked before, and the person has bothered to check down the page for an answer that might be there) I get when I check the email to see if I have any, but of course I'm not always on the computer, and not every day do I get the chance to check the email. Also, just to say that submitting the same question 6 times in a row will not get the question answered any faster. Every time you submit a question, I can guarantee that it will be read by me, and having to submit it many times does not make me more likely to do it. It just wastes my time.

Question: How do you duck down on GTA:VCS? Firmware: 5.03
Well, sorry to say that on VCS, I don't believe there is a control for ducking down. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Question: Following your guide on reading books on the PSP, the PSP is telling me that the the reader112 file is corrupt.Will there be an update on reader112 for this version? Firmware: 5.51
Hey there.
The problem here is that you need custom firmware for PSP Reader to work on your PSP. As it is homebrew, and was not made by Sony, it needs the custom firmware to let it be run. Just search around online for custom firmware and you should find the guide necessary to get custom firmware on your PSP, and then run this application.

Question: Is Firmware upgrading free? Firmware: 5.00 OFW

Question: How do you customise your PSP? FirmWare: 5.00 OFW
Well, it depends on your definition of customise. If you want custom firmware, just use the Pandora's battery and one of the thousands of guides online.
Instead, let's talking about things you can do to customise without custom firmware. The first thing to do would be to get a decent ptf theme. There are tonnes on the internet, so just search around and you'll find the one suited to you. Alternatively, you could make your own also.
Demos are another good thing. The best place to get them, in my opinion, is http://www.pspdemo.org/site/index.php . They have loads.
Next, just stick on some music, pictures and videos onto your PSP and you'll have a nice one. Also, research iPhone on PSP and Vista; they're basically html pages loaded in your internet browser on the PSP, but they certainly make sone people jealous.

Question: How do you install DevHook on PSP? FirmWare:N/A
Well, I've been a bit busy, and don't have enough time as such to create a guide on installing DevHook, so just go to http://forums.exophase.com/showthread.php?t=295
for an excellent guide on how to do it.
That guide should be enough to guide you through the process.

Question: What theme is on your PSP in your YouTube videos?
Well, I complied that custom theme myself on YouTube. It's a flash theme.
But, if you have custom firmware installed, it's pretty easy to do. Just find the Large Original theme in white and flash it to your PSP (there are many guides on the internet), and then
it's a case of Pick'n'Mix on different waves and volume bars until you get what you want. If you can vaguely understand German, custompsp.de is a good place to get themes and flash files
for your PSP.

Question: How can you fly on GTA:VCS? Can I buy the Cheat Device? Firmware:3.90 OFW
Well, as I've said too many times before; sorry, but you need to have Custom Firmware to use the Cheat Device. There are hundreds of guides for it online, and I'm planning to post one soon. Look around for the "Pandora's Battery" and you should be well on your way.
Also, you can't buy the GTA:VCS Cheat Device. It's a free piece of software that goes onto your memory stick so that you can use the cheats (mentioned in the guide).
Hope that helps.

Question: How do you read books on PSP? Firmware:N/A
OK, you need custom firmware to be able to do this, but the guide is available in the guide library and I put a video on YouTube too.

Hi. Here's a note. Please don't send in so many questions regarding GTA:VCS. Those cheats are included INSIDE the pack you download or are available at CheatSync.net . Anyway, I'd better answer this question.
Question:How do you change PSP startup? Firmware:N/A
So, there might be a problem here. I'll make the assumption that the asker is on official Sony firmware. In which case, I am sorry to say that this custom startup (called 'coldboot' for reference) can only be done on custom firmware :(.
But, if you have custom firmware, find the coldboot you want to use. It should be for your version of firmware. Make sure it is named 'opening_plugin.rco'. Then connect your PSP in recovery mode, go to 'Advanced' and set USB to Flash0. Enable the Flash0 USB and open up your PSP Flash0 folders on your computer. Go to 'VSH', then 'Resource', and in Resource there is an 'opening_plugin.rco'. BACK THAT UP into your documents just in case. Then copy and paste the new coldboot file into the 'Resource' folder, replacing the existing 'opening_plugin.rco'. Then after that is fully copied you can safely remove your PSP from the USB and Hey Presto! You should have a new coldboot!

Question: How do you get internet access on the PSP? Firmware: N/A
So, you want to connect your PSP to the internet. The first thing to do is to have a wireless network. That is very important. If not, I have seen peripherals out and about which you can plug into your PC to transmit wireless signals.
Anyway, the thing you want to do first is write some stuff down. Go to http://www.ip-adress.com/ , and it should display a code with numbers and dots. Open a new window and paste that code into your address bar, and you should be accessing your wireless network settings. You will be prompted to enter a username and password. If you don't know what they are, they will probably be "admin" and "password" respectively. So, copy lots of the information from this stuff, maybe into a notepad. The primary DNS stuff is quite important but one of the most important things is your security password. All of this stuff depends on your security. If you have NO security AT ALL on your wireless network, you could probably skip to the next paragraph. Next, go onto your PSP and navigate to Settings, then System Settings and finally System Information. Write down the MAC address displayed, as for some wireless networks. such as mine, you need to give the device with this certain MAC permission.
Now on your PSP go to Settings and scroll right to the bottom where you should have your Network Settings. Select Infastructure and follow the steps, entering the information you acquired when you need to. If your security is high, you might need to go onto the wireless place again and enter your PSP MAC address in the part where you enable certain devices.
Anyway, that is the overall idea. Hope that helps anyone out there.

Question: How do you do the superman cheat on GTA:VCS and How do you get more cheats on GTA:VCS Cheat Device? Firmware:N/A
Finally, I'm onto this one. I'm making a guide now for the Cheat Device, so check the guides library. Also have a look at the video library, where I'll add a guide for that.
Sorry for the long wait. If only days were longer....

Question: How do you put themes on PSP? Firmware:3.52 OFW
PTF themes on PSP are so good because they're very easy to make and just this little thing can really spice up your PSP. For that reason, this PSP owner has asked how.
So, the first step is to connect your PSP to your computer and enable USB. Open up the PSP drive on "My Computer", and there should be a folder called PSP. If there isn't, create it.
Inside that, there should be a folder called THEME. If it's not there, create that too :). So, make sure those folders are named with CAPITAL LETTERS, and now you are ready to go crazy with your themes. I personally love http://www.psp-themes.net/ - they have a nice amount, and you can of course contribute your own. Otherwise, you could download this MASSIVE theme pack of over 1100 themes at http://www.sendspace.com/file/c9gmr8 . Be warned; it is 250mb (0.25GB)! So, copy all of the .ptf these you downloaded into the THEME folder, fire up the PSP, go to settings and select your theme and now you should have a nicer looking PSP!
Hope that helps. Keep coming for more questions.

Question:How do you update PSP Flash Player? Firmware: N/A
Quite a few people ask this question. The bad news is that it can't be done officially, since the PSP doesn't have the physical capacity for the flash player. There still are some homebrew programs to watch YouTube on PSP, though.
Question: How do you fly on GTA:VCS? Firmware:N/A
As I have said many times before, you need GTA VCS Cheat Device to do this. That's the only way for it to work. And it comes with the package, too.
Here is another flying one though. (:
#cheat Superman
pstartfly = getshort(pplayer+0x1C8);
setfloat(pplayer + 0x4E4, 150.0);//health
if(buttons & CTRL_RTRIGGER) speedmult = 1.5; else speedmult = 0.3;
if(buttons & CTRL_CROSS) {
setshort(pplayer+0x1C8, 0x1020);
setfloat(pplayer+0x148, speedmult/2);
}
else if(buttons & CTRL_SQUARE && pstartfly==0x1020) setfloat(pplayer+0x148, -speedmult/2);
else if(pstartfly==0x1020) setfloat(pplayer+0x148, 0);
setfloat(pplayer + 0x0078, -0.03 * xstick);
if(ystick < -0.5 && pstartfly==0x1020) {
setfloat(pplayer+0x140, getfloat(pplayer+0x10));
setfloat(pplayer+0x144, getfloat(pplayer+0x14));
} else if(pstartfly==0x1020) setfloat(pplayer+0x140, 0, 0);
How do you Hack a PSP? Firmware: (evidently OFW)
There are too many things to consider when hacking a PSP. There's a lot of variation between PSPs, and to fit all of that in would probably waste an hour of my precious time :P, as well as taking up the whole page. I would advise you to look around afterdawn, dcemu and exophase, though.

Question: How do you cheat on GTA VCS? Firmware: N/A
Evidently this question was posted after watching one of my videos on YouTube ( http://www.youtube.com/pspupgrade ). I'm using a cheat device called GTA VCS Cheat Device. To use it you must have custom firmware (3.71M33 excluded) or 1.50 firmware and DevHook. For that reason there are two answers for this question. One for people with Custom Firmware (if you have it you'll know that you have it) or official firmware (what you have if you don't have custom firmware). I'll start with the official firmware answer as it will apply to more people. If you want to get custom firmware I will be posting many guides on this site soon, so keep checking back.
Official Firmware
Just go Here for cheat codes for GTA VCS. I've tested some of them and they work.
Custom Firmware
There is a much better but much more complicated procedure for the custom firmware method. I'll post it in the guides library when I find the time.
Hope I Could Help.

Question: How Do You Be Superman On GTA:VCS? Firmware:N/A
I received this question from someone not long ago, but I'm not able to answer it. Please specify your PSP's Firmware if you want your question to be answered, as for this question in particular your ability to be Superman on GTA:VCS depends on your firmware.

Question: What is the Cheat for Superman on GTA:VCS? Firmware: 4.01M33 Custom Firmware: Yes!
Hi!
This should be a simple question to answer. Assuming you know how to use the GTA VCS Cheat Device (if not, YouTube it), the code is:
#cheat Superman
pstartfly = getshort(pplayer+0x1C8);
setfloat(pplayer + 0x4E4, 150.0);//health
if(buttons & CTRL_RTRIGGER) speedmult = 1.5; else speedmult = 0.3;
if(buttons & CTRL_CROSS) {
setshort(pplayer+0x1C8, 0x1020);
setfloat(pplayer+0x148, speedmult/2);
}
else if(buttons & CTRL_SQUARE && pstartfly==0x1020) setfloat(pplayer+0x148, -speedmult/2);
else if(pstartfly==0x1020) setfloat(pplayer+0x148, 0);
setfloat(pplayer + 0x0078, -0.03 * xstick);
if(ystick < -0.5 && pstartfly==0x1020) {
setfloat(pplayer+0x140, getfloat(pplayer+0x10));
setfloat(pplayer+0x144, getfloat(pplayer+0x14));
} else if(pstartfly==0x1020) setfloat(pplayer+0x140, 0, 0);

Hope that helps.
